What types of power system studies does Proctek perform?
Proctek performs short circuit studies (IEC 60909), load flow, protection coordination, arc flash (NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584), transient stability, motor starting, power quality and harmonics analysis. Deliverables include industry-standard software models (ETAP, EasyPower, SKM) and prioritized recommendations.
Do you design medium and high voltage substations?
Yes. Proctek designs, fabricates and commissions substations from 480V to 230kV: layout, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, IEC 61850 automation and electrical SCADA. This includes atmospheric protection (grounding, lightning arresters) and calculation reports under IEEE/NEC.
Do you perform arc flash analysis and under which standard?
Yes. Proctek performs arc flash studies under NFPA 70E using the IEEE 1584 methodology. Deliverables include arc flash labels, PPE category assessment, incident energy reduction recommendations (protection settings, equipment changes) and safe work procedures.
Do you offer field instrumentation and calibration services?
Yes. Proctek deploys E&I field teams for instrument installation (pressure, temperature, level, flow), NIST-traceable calibration, electrical commissioning, loop checking and maintenance. Ongoing support from technical hubs across LATAM.
Do you conduct energy efficiency audits?
Yes. Proctek conducts energy efficiency assessments under ISO 50001, identifying opportunities in motors, lighting, compressed air, steam and refrigeration systems. This includes power factor correction, harmonics measurement and proposals with calculated ROI.
