Preguntas Frecuentes

Preguntas comunes de nuestros clientes sobre los servicios de esta área.

How long does a typical EPC project take?
Proctek's EPC projects range from 6 months (modular skids, small treatment plants) to 36 months (major production facilities, pipelines). The schedule is built during FEED with milestones for FEL-1 (conceptual), FEL-2 (basic), FEL-3 (detailed), procurement, construction and commissioning.
What types of EPC projects does Proctek deliver?
Proctek has delivered 850+ EPC projects in oil & gas (production facilities, separators, treaters), energy (substations, renewables), water (industrial treatment), petrochemicals, mining and food. All turnkey with single-point responsibility through SAT.
Do you have experience in pipeline construction?
Yes. Proctek builds flowlines, oil pipelines, gas pipelines and aqueducts under ASME B31.3 with certified A-106 Grade B welding. This includes shop spool prefabrication, coating, field installation, hydrostatic testing and commissioning with integrated QA/QC.
How do you manage international procurement?
Proctek has procurement offices in Colombia, USA-Texas, USA-California and the UAE, enabling direct OEM equipment purchasing, DDP/CIF import management and international cargo consolidation. They work with authorized OEMs (Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Emerson, Honeywell, GE) under framework agreements.
Can you fabricate process skids in your shops?
Yes. Proctek fabricates modular process skids, measurement units, control packages, electrical panels, containerized enclosures for remote sites and hydrocyclones. Modularization reduces on-site construction time and improves QA by fabricating under controlled conditions.
What is HAZOP and when do I need one?
HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) is a systematic deviation analysis for industrial processes that identifies safety and operability risks. It is mandatory before commissioning new plants, after major changes (MOC), and every 5 years to maintain PSM compliance (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119). Proctek facilitates HAZOPs with certified leaders and dedicated software.
